Job summary

Lowe's seeks a Customer Service Associate to assist customers, locate merchandise, and demonstrate product features in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help customers by answering questions and guiding them to solutions, while processing sales and maintaining accuracy at the register.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, retail experience as a cashier, and a willingness to learn about product warranties and store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, and carrying merchandise.
• Coaches, develops, and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
