Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Less than 1 year experience with computers and retail tech.
• 1 year retail cashier experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service following Lowe's policies and programs.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Respond to questions and guide customers through projects in-store.
• Inform customers about stock, special orders, features, warranties.
• Coach and train associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and refunds at the register.
• Ensure proper monetary change for register activities.
• Inspect returned merchandise for damages and stock handling.
• Enter and verify customer orders and loading tickets.
• Compare prices and verify product information for price matching.
• Maintain store use lists and perform daily cash reconciliation.
• Monitor cash drawer, cash recycler, and security alarms.
• Identify shoplifting signs and communicate with management/Asset Protection.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas.
• Operate store equipment as needed (various systems listed).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
