Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer or retail technology.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times and guides customers through Lowe's policies and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds to customer and employee questions by guiding them to the correct departments and processes.
• Communicates stock, special order, and warranty information to customers.
• Trains and coaches associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
• Processes sales, returns, and refunds using the cash register per company guidelines.
• Ensures accuracy of cash counts and daily reconciliations.
• Looks up product information and price matches competitor prices when needed.
• Maintains store cleanliness, safety, and proper tag removal and loading procedures.
