Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of retail cashier experience is preferred.
• Basic computer and point-of-sale literacy with cash handling skills.
• Ability to obtain required licenses or registrations if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service through Lowe's policies and programs.
• Help customers locate, demonstrate, and load merchandise as needed.
• Answer questions promptly and guide customers through store areas or projects.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges at the register per guidelines.
• Assist in verifying price matches and stock information for customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety in the checkout area and aisles.
• Support in opening/closing register operations and daily reconciliations.
• Monitor security and assist Asset Protection to deter theft.
• Contribute to team training and development within the Front End Team.
