Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably to customer and employee questions and guides them to areas of the store.
• Communicates information regarding stock, special order merchandise, features, and warranty information.
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
• Operates cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds.
