Job summary

Cumberland County Children and Youth Services is seeking a Caseworker Supervisor to lead the casework team in Carlisle, PA. You will supervise caseworkers, ensure compliance with safety and risk assessments, and support service plan development with families.

You will participate in court hearings, attend weekly staffings, and mentor staff through training programs while upholding DPW regulations and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work.
• Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences; or 12 college credits in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs caseworkers to meet safety and risk assessment requirements.
• Ensures timely development of service plans with families.
• Performs performance reviews and handles personnel issues within the unit.
• Attends court hearings and treatment team meetings as needed.
• Provides training and support to staff and interns.
