Job summary

Lycoming County Children and Youth Services is seeking a Casework Supervisor to lead a team serving children and families in Lycoming County. You will supervise caseworkers, guide service planning, and collaborate with courts, schools, and community partners to improve safety and permanency outcomes.

The role emphasizes staff development, quality oversight, and interagency coordination, with a regular 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and no telework option.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in public or private social work.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision and guidance for casework staff during conferences and planning sessions.
• Monitor casework to ensure child safety, family progress, and regulatory compliance.
• Support staff in involving children, families, providers, and partners in planning decisions.
• Coordinate with courts, probation, schools, and community resources for strong outcomes.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the agency case management system.
• Provide backup for complex cases, crises, and court-related needs when required.
