Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago seeks a Lead Case Manager to guide Workforce Case Managers, oversee case documentation, and support youth program activities. The role involves coordinating with multiple departments, leading youth engagement initiatives, and advancing staff development within a mission-driven workforce development program.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or equivalent experience.
• Educational background in vocational rehabilitation to support evaluations and develop individual development plans.
• Prior experience with persons with disabilities and disadvantages preferred.
• Prior experience in job training methods, techniques, and principles preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn Workforce Development information systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Bilingual, Spanish or American Sign Language preferred.
• Must work at least one weekend day and rotate with on-call duties as needed

Responsibilities

• Serves as lead resource for Workforce Case Managers and provides guidance on case management practices, documentation, job readiness assessments, and operational processes.
• Supports the Manager Workforce Development with daily workflow and program coordination while providing direct case management support.
• Organizes and leads the GWGL Youth Program, communicating with parents and schools, attending interviews, and coordinating documentation and schedules.
• Coordinates and supports transition between departments and training of new employees and community outreach initiatives.
• Participates in corrective action meetings and addresses confidential matters as needed.
• Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure case management and training support with daily activities and special projects.
• Leads and develops talent, partnering with coworkers to advance their development.
• Participates in formal department projects and change management initiatives.
