Job summary

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee & Chicago is seeking an Employment Specialist to build employer partnerships and identify job opportunities for program participants. The role partners with employers and other Goodwill staff to create job prospects and customize placements.

You will manage a caseload, provide career counseling and job coaching, and maintain required records and reports, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and participant goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license, vehicle and insurance coverage.
• Effective computer skills for reporting, communication, information gathering and presentation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Develop employer partnerships to identify and customize job opportunities for individuals in the program.
• Market skills and strengths of people served and program support services; liaison with employers and agencies.
• Maintain records including monthly progress reports and billing information.
• Provide counseling and guidance in career exploration, job seeking skills and resources.
• Organize weekly activities to manage a caseload of 30-40 individuals and deliver placement services.
