ServiceMaster DSI in Champaign, IL is seeking a lead carpenter for year-round work with benefits. This full-time skilled tradesman role focuses on remodeling projects including drywall, painting, tile and flooring, with responsibilities across home rebuilds and various construction phases.

You will earn $32 per hour, with a daily vehicle stipend, six major holidays are paid off, and PTO accrues as you work.

Qualifications

• Remodeling experience required and demonstrated by past projects.
• Reliable and hardworking with a commitment to quality work.
• Provide your own tools and maintain them for job sites.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team and clients.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work sites.
• Background check and drug screen are required before employment.
• Previous restoration or disaster-construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead carpenter role on remodeling projects across sites.
• Perform drywall, painting, tile, flooring and carpentry tasks.
• Work from patch work to complete home rebuilds as needed.
• Collaborate with superintendents and tradesmen to achieve goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and project timelines.

Salary : $32 Hourly, negotiable depending on experience and trade knowledge

The Position: We are looking for a full time skilled Tradesman with remodeling experience (Drywallers, Painters, Tile, Flooring, Carpenters, Mechanical). The more skills you have the more we can offer you. We work on anything from a small patch and paint to a complete home rebuild. With our consistent workload, great leaders and well-rounded team members, this is a highly sought-after opportunity for you to find a permanent home.

Offering competitive pay, along with a daily vehicle stipend for travel expenses, six major holidays are paid off and you will accrue PTO as you work. Overtime is paid at 40+ and Double time after 60+. We are a growing company and there are advancement opportunities. Tradesmen are only working on construction phases, not water mitigation.
