Job summary

Four Tiers Contracting in the Greater Seattle area is seeking a hands-on Lead Carpenter who can own a job site from start to finish. You will lead a small crew, coordinate with homeowners, and deliver top-quality residential remodeling and repairs.

This is a full-time, year-round role requiring you to read plans, estimate material needs, and maintain safety and craftsmanship at every stage. Mentorship and crew development are encouraged as our projects grow.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential construction or carpentry experience.
Experience leading a crew on residential jobs.
Ability to read plans, measure accurately, estimate material needs.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to teach and mentor less-experienced team members.
Professional communication with homeowners.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Within reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities

Lead residential remodeling, renovation, repair, and handyman projects from start to finish.
Manage day-to-day operations on assigned job sites.
Run and organize a small crew and keep on schedule.
Perform high-quality carpentry and finish work.
Read plans and project specifications.
Plan daily work and assign tasks.
Mentor less-experienced carpenters.
Coordinate materials, tools, and subcontractors.
Maintain safety and quality standards on sites.
