Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead carpentry work on-site, ensuring quality craftsmanship across all stages of residential projects.
2. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents to guide execution.
3. Coordinate and supervise other carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors.
4. Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
5. Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and perform various remodeling tasks with precision and efficiency.
6. Order materials and tools as needed and communicate with suppliers/vendors.
7. Collaborate with project managers to keep timelines and budgets on track.
8. Perform quality control checks and punch list work before project completion.
9. Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices.
10. Represent Bova Construction Services professionally with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of carpentry experience, including leadership or foreman roles.
2. Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and codes.
3. Proficient in reading blueprints, measuring accurately, and executing custom work.
4. Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing site conditions.
6. Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
7. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
8. Ability to work on heights, lifts, and ladders.
9. OSHA, fall protection, or lift certifications (preferred but not required).
10. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Schedule:

1. Full-time, Monday through Friday.
2. Occasional weekends or extended hours based on project needs.

Work Location:

1. Primarily field-based in residential job sites across the area.
