Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead carpentry work on-site, ensuring quality craftsmanship across all stages of residential projects.
2. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents to guide execution.
3. Coordinate and supervise other carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors.
4. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites compliant with safety regulations.
5. Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and perform various remodeling tasks with precision.
6. Order materials and tools as needed, communicating with suppliers/vendors.
7. Collaborate with project managers to adhere to timelines and budgets.
8. Perform quality control checks and complete punch list work before project completion.
9. Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to best practices.
10. Represent Bova Construction Services professionally with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of carpentry experience, including leadership or foreman roles.
2. Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and codes.
3. Proficient in reading blueprints, measuring accurately, and executing custom work.
4. Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to site conditions.
6. Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
7. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
8. Ability to work at heights, on lifts, and ladders.
9. OSHA, fall protection, or lift certifications (preferred but not required).
10. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
