Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead carpentry work on-site, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship throughout all project phases.
2. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents to guide work execution.
3. Coordinate and supervise carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors.
4. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites in compliance with safety regulations.
5. Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and perform various remodeling tasks with precision.
6. Order materials and tools as needed, communicating with suppliers and vendors.
7. Collaborate with project managers to adhere to timelines and budgets.
8. Perform quality control checks and complete punch list items before project completion.
9. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
10. Represent Bova Construction Services professionally with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of carpentry experience, including leadership roles such as foreman.
2. Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and codes.
3. Proficient in reading blueprints, measuring, and executing custom work.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to site conditions.
6. Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
7. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
8. Comfortable working at heights, on lifts, and ladders.
9. OSHA, fall protection, or lift certifications (preferred).
10. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
