Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead on-site carpentry work, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship throughout residential projects
2. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents to guide work
3. Supervise and coordinate carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors
4. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites in compliance with safety regulations
5. Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and perform remodeling tasks with precision
6. Order materials and tools, and communicate with suppliers/vendors
7. Work with project managers to adhere to timelines and budgets
8. Conduct quality control and punch list work before project completion
9. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices
10. Represent Bova Construction Services professionally with clients and vendors

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of carpentry experience, including leadership or foreman roles
2. Deep knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and codes
3. Proficiency in reading blueprints, measuring, and executing custom work
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to site conditions
6. Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
7. Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform demanding tasks
8. Comfort working at heights, on lifts, and ladders
9. OSHA, fall protection, or lift certifications (preferred)
10. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
