Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead carpentry work on-site, ensuring quality craftsmanship across all stages of residential projects.
2. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documents to guide execution.
3. Coordinate and supervise other carpenters, apprentices, and subcontractors.
4. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site compliant with safety regulations.
5. Install framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and perform various remodeling tasks with precision.
6. Order materials and tools as needed; communicate with suppliers and vendors.
7. Collaborate with project managers to adhere to timelines and budgets.
8. Perform quality control checks and complete punch list items before project completion.
9. Mentor junior team members and promote best practices.
10. Represent Bova Construction Services professionally with clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of carpentry experience, including leadership roles such as foreman.
2. Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and codes.
3. Proficiency in reading blueprints, measuring, and executing custom work.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to site conditions.
6. Dependability, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
7. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
8. Comfort working at heights, using lifts, and ladders.
9. OSHA, fall protection, or lift certifications (preferred).
10. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
