Job summary

Media Real Estate, a Media, PA-based property management company, is seeking a full-time General Carpentry Maintenance Technician with Supervisory Skills to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate is hands-on with broad maintenance expertise across trades, strong carpentry skills, and the ability to supervise or lead others on project-based tasks.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, HVAC, and painting; conducting inspections;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in facilities or property maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead or supervise project-based maintenance work.
• Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong tenant/customer service orientation.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret building codes, and troubleshoot complex maintenance issues.
• Must supply your own vehicle and tools (mileage reimbursed); valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, HVAC, and painting.
• Lead small teams or projects and supervise junior staff or contractors.
• Conduct property inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to service requests with focus on safety and tenant satisfaction.
• Oversee vendors and contractors for timely, compliant service.
• Maintain safety, codes and company standards on worksites.
• Manage inventory and tools; assist procurement.
• Document work orders and inspection reports.
