Job summary

Media Real Estate, a Media, PA-based Property Management Company, is seeking a full-time General Carpentry Maintenance Technician with Supervisory Skills to join our Service Department. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with broad maintenance expertise across trades, strong carpentry skills, and the ability to supervise or lead others on project-based tasks.

This position is critical to maintaining the quality, safety, and functionality of our residential and commercial properties,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities or property maintenance experience including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Proven ability to lead or supervise project-based maintenance work.
• Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong tenant/customer service orientation.
• Ability to read blueprints, interpret building codes, and troubleshoot complex maintenance issues.
• Must supply your own vehicle and tools; valid driver's license required.
• Background check and drug screening clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Maintenance & Repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, HVAC, and painting.
• Lead small teams or projects providing guidance or oversight to junior staff or contractors.
• Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to tenant service requests with safety, quality, and satisfaction in mind.
• Oversee vendors and contractors for timely, compliant service delivery.
• Maintain worksite safety, codes, and company standards.
• Manage inventory and tools and assist with procurement needs.
• Document work orders, logs, and inspection reports.
