Home Instead 870 is seeking a Lead Care Professional to take on a leadership role within the caregiving team. You will train, mentor, and support new caregivers while continuing to provide high-quality in-home care to clients.

The role focuses on onboarding, staff scheduling support, and daily office operations, with office-based hours and a competitive hourly pay rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience training or mentoring others preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills required.
• Excellent attendance and professional references.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable using computers and handling basic administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to older adults in their homes.
• Cover open and urgent client shifts during scheduled hours.
• Lead and assist with caregiver orientation and onboarding.
• Train and mentor new Care Professionals.
• Conduct shadow and training shifts.
• Support client Starts of Care and introductions for caregivers.
• Serve as a role model for other caregivers.
• Prepare onboarding paperwork and client folder binders.
• Assist with training documentation and administrative tasks.
• Coordinate with Scheduling and Client Care teams.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality care for clients.
