Job summary

HomeWell Care Services of Chattanooga is seeking an experienced, dependable Lead Caregiver / Care Manager to lead our team and ensure high-quality in-home care.

You will train and mentor caregivers, assist with recruiting and onboarding, manage scheduling, and step in when coverage is needed to support clients and families.

This role offers a flexible part-time schedule, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive team dedicated to dignity and independence at home.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in home care, home health, caregiving, CNA, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work professionally and effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Genuine passion for helping people maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life at home.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet company hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach non-medical caregivers on client care expectations, company procedures, and best practices.
• Act as a resource and positive role model for caregivers.
• Help ensure caregivers understand and follow client care plans and company expectations.
• Provide feedback and support to caregivers in the field.
• Assist with recruiting and identifying qualified caregivers.
• Help with caregiver interviews, orientations, and onboarding.
• Represent HomeWell professionally when interacting with prospective and current caregivers.
• Help address caregiver call-outs, coverage issues, and scheduling needs.
• Be willing to pick up open or missed shifts when necessary.
• Support clients and families by ensuring reliable, consistent care.
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding client and caregiver needs.
