HomeWell Care Services of Chattanooga is seeking an experienced Lead Caregiver / Care Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll train and support caregivers, assist with recruiting, and help maintain quality care while stepping in when coverage is needed.

You will lead by example, coordinate scheduling, and work closely with families to ensure reliable, compassionate in-home care. This is a flexible part-time opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in home care, home health, caregiving, CNA, or related field.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work professionally with clients, families, and team.
• Dependable, organized, proactive.
• Pass background check and meet hiring requirements.
• A genuine passion for helping people maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life at home.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach non-medical caregivers on client care expectations, company procedures, and best practices.
• Serve as a resource and role model for caregivers.
• Help ensure caregivers follow client care plans and company expectations.
• Provide feedback and support to caregivers in the field.
• Assist with recruiting and interviewing, onboarding caregivers.
• Represent HomeWell professionally with prospective and current caregivers.
• Address caregiver call-outs, coverage issues, and last-minute scheduling needs.
• Be willing to pick up open or missed shifts when necessary.
• Support clients and families by ensuring reliable, consistent care.
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding client and caregiver needs.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced caregiver or CNA who is ready to take the next step beyond providing hands-on care. In this role, you’ll help train and support caregivers, assist with recruiting, help maintain quality care, and step in when coverage is needed.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Support Caregivers

• Train and coach non-medical caregivers on client care expectations, company procedures, and best practices.
• Serve as a resource and positive role model for caregivers.
• Help ensure caregivers understand and consistently follow client care plans and company expectations.
• Provide feedback and support to caregivers in the field.

Help Build Our Caregiver Team

• Assist with recruiting and identifying qualified caregivers.
• Help with caregiver interviews, orientations, and onboarding.
• Represent HomeWell professionally when interacting with prospective and current caregivers.

Support Scheduling & Client Care

• Help address caregiver call-outs, coverage issues, and last-minute scheduling needs.
• Be willing to pick up open or missed shifts when necessary.
• Support clients and families by helping ensure reliable, consistent care.
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding client and caregiver needs.

What We’re Looking For
