Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, providing hands-on support and mentoring the caregiving team to ensure exceptional resident care. You will model professionalism, accountability, and compassionate service throughout each shift.

Qualified candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED and CPR/First Aid/Medication Administration certifications, with strong communication and decision-making skills. Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
