Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader and provide exceptional resident care while coaching the caregiving team. You will lead shift assignments, monitor resident changes, and ensure documentation aligns with ISP.

This role combines hands-on caregiving with frontline leadership to support quality of life for residents. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications, plus experience in assisted

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance and coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure ISP alignment.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
