Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, ensuring consistent resident care while coaching the caregiving team. You will lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.

Responsibilities include hands‑on ADL support, coaching staff on quality and documentation, and reviewing charting to align with ISP. You will monitor resident changes, onboard new teammates, and promote safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands‑on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
• Review charting and ensure alignment with ISP.
• Monitor resident changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Support onboarding and mentor new team members.
• Promote safety, compliance, and smooth shift transitions.
