Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Lead Caregiver to support our clients across Roseburg and surrounding areas. You will handle critical shifts, fill-ins, and training with new caregivers, and you must be available on short notice for client needs in your designated service area.

The position offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and ongoing training. You will be part of a supportive team that values caregivers and their growth while delivering compassionate, high-quality home care.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on rare occasions
• Must own a smartphone capable of downloading and using a mobile app
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead Caregivers help with critical shifts, fill-ins, new clients, and training shifts
• Must be available on short notice during assigned times with clients in assigned areas
• Provide care tasks and support per client needs
• Support clients with activities of daily living and monitor client condition

Our office is located in Roseburg, and we service Roseburg, Roseburg North, Calkins, Riversdale, Wilbur, Dixonville, Oaks, Green, and the surrounding areas. We have multiple shifts available and will keep you close to the area where you prefer to work.

Lead Caregiver Summary

Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts. This includes but is not limited to fill-ins, new clients and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branches service areas.

Lead Caregiver Pay Rate: $23hr

Caregiver Job Duties:

Our caregivers support their clients in activities of daily living, including (but not limited to):

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition

Oregon only: If you have not previously completed the state-required 8-hour Home Care Pulse caregiver training, you will be required to complete the training along with nurse-led medication training before working with clients. You will be paid to complete both trainings!
