Job summary

Family Resource Home Care is seeking a Lead Caregiver to support our clients in Moses Lake and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include filling in, training new caregivers, and covering shifts with short notice.

Willingness to travel across branches is required. The paid rate is $22 per hour, and state CNA/HCA credentials are preferred but not mandatory. A training pathway may be available for recruits without licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a state and national background check.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record.
• Active NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.).
• Cooking and/or serving meals.
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car.
• Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers.
• Monitoring and reporting on their condition.

Skills

Lead Caregiver Summary

Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts. This includes but is not limited to fill-ins, new clients and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branches service areas.

Following areas willing to travel include

Moses Lake, Othello, Ephrata Quincy, Soup Lake, Warden, Ritzville.

Lead Caregiver Schedule

Monday - Friday 8a- 5p Or Thursday - Monday 8a - 5 p

Lead Caregiver Pay Rate

$22/hr

Active state CNA or HCA license preferred but not required - Nurse delegation is a plus.

Additional Information

• Washington only – If you do not have a current HCA or CNA license, you will be required to enroll in our HCA training program we offer (due to state requirements). You will be able to complete the training while working and will have 120 days to complete it.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required
• One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home setting
• Ability to lift to 50lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
• WA Only – Current valid CEs if you are an HCA
