Job summary

7 Sisters/Family Resource Home Care is seeking an experienced Lead Caregiver to support our most critical shifts, fill in for new clients, and train new caregivers. You must be available on short notice across assigned branches and service areas in Skagit County and surrounding WA communities.

The role offers a rotating five-day schedule with at least one weekend day. The pay rate is $26 per hour, with opportunities for additional travel time and mileage reimbursement as part of the job.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home setting.
• Active NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required.
• Must be able to pass a state and national background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and dishes.
• Cook and/or serve meals as needed.
• Help clients bathe, dress, and groom.
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies.
• Transport clients for errands or appointments in your car.
• Assist with gait belt or Hoyer transfers.
• Monitor and report on clients' condition and changes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Lead Caregiver Summary

Our Lead Caregivers are experienced individuals who help with our most critical shifts. This includes but is not limited to fill-ins, new clients and training shifts with new caregivers. The primary responsibilities include the Caregiver Job Duties listed below. Our Lead Caregivers must be available to work on short notice during their assigned availability times with clients in any of their assigned branches service areas.

Lead Caregiver Schedule

5 days a week, with rotating schedule. Must be willing to work one weekend day.

Example schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8a-8p

Lead Caregiver Pay Rate

$26 hr

Caregiver Job Duties

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record
• Active state NAC/CNA or HCA license preferred but not required
• One year experience in home care, AFH, hospital or nursing home setting
• Ability to lift to 50lbs
• Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels
• Smart phone with ability to download and utilize the AxisCare app
• WA Only – Current valid CEs if you are an HCA
