Job summary

At Ease Home Care is seeking a Lead Caregiver to join our Idaho/Washington team. This leadership role supports caregivers, oversees client care, and drives agency growth through staff development and community outreach.

The position requires going beyond caregiving with mentoring, coaching, and staffing support, plus flexibility to travel for client needs. Monday–Friday schedule and 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours with a pay rate of $22–$24/hour DOE.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, coaching and support to caregivers in the field.
  • Assist with staffing needs and open shift coverage.
  • Conduct caregiver and client home visits and assist with client intakes.
  • Assist with orientation and ongoing caregiver training.
  • Support community outreach and referral-source relationships.

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility Required)

Pay Rate: $22-24/hr DOE

At Ease Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Lead Caregiver to join our growing team. This is more than a caregiving position. It is a leadership role that plays a critical part in supporting our caregivers, serving our clients, and helping our agency continue to grow throughout Idaho and Washington.

What You'll Do
Leadership & Team Support
  • Serve as a positive role model and leader for caregivers.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to caregivers in the field.
  • Promote accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
  • Assist leadership with staffing needs and agency initiatives.
Scheduling & Open Shift Coverage
  • Help fill open shifts throughout the week.
  • Respond to urgent staffing needs and assist with shift coverage.
  • Support retention by helping caregivers feel supported and successful.
  • Be willing to step in when needed to ensure client care needs are met.
Client Care & Home Visits
  • Conduct caregiver and client home visits.
  • Assist with client intakes and assessments.
  • Support quality assurance and client satisfaction efforts.
  • Address client concerns and communicate updates to leadership.
Training & Development
  • Assist with caregiver orientation and training.
  • Mentor new caregivers and support ongoing development.
  • Reinforce company policies, procedures, and documentation expectations.
Marketing & Community Outreach
  • Assist with community outreach and marketing efforts.
  • Help build relationships with referral sources and community partners.
  • Support agency growth and development initiatives.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Previous caregiving experience required

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skilled at coaching, mentoring, and supporting others

Professional, dependable, and accountable

Comfortable using email, Microsoft Teams, scheduling software, and electronic documentation systems

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required

This position requires flexibility and a commitment to supporting the agency's needs.

The Lead Caregiver must:

  • Be willing to travel outside their preferred service area when needed.
  • Be available to assist with staffing challenges and urgent client needs.
  • Occasionally work outside of scheduled hours to support operations and client care.
  • Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and a positive attitude at all times.
  • Represent At Ease Home Care professionally in the community.
