Staffing Resource Utilization
- Ensure all open cases are actively being staffed using available resources
- Utilize Caribou, Priority Caregiver List, and outreach tools to maximize caregiver engagement
- Monitor team activity to ensure consistent outreach and follow-up
- Reduce open shifts and improve staffing turnaround time

Team Motivation & Communication
- Act as a motivator and support system for Scheduling Coordinators
- Provide clear and consistent updates on open cases, staffing priorities, and departmental expectations
- Provide team updates every two (2) hours regarding staffing needs, open cases, and coverage gaps
- Ensure team engagement and responsiveness throughout the workday
- Reinforce adherence to staffing workflows and daily goals

Operational Support & Escalation
- Identify staffing gaps and elevate issues to the Care Manager
- Assist in resolving day-to-day staffing challenges
- Support continuity of care by ensuring timely case coverage
- Maintain awareness of urgent staffing needs and assist as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in home care coordination, staffing, or scheduling
- Prior experience in a lead or senior coordinator role preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suite and HHAeXchange or similar scheduling/EVV systems
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple cases in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong understanding of home care regulations, compliance standards, and NYS Department of Health (DOH) requirements
- Proven ability to motivate, guide, and support a team while maintaining productivity and accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and maintain professional relationships
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in real time to support staffing and operational needs
