Job summary

Hil Wi in Wisconsin is seeking a DSP supervisor to monitor service and care provisions for quality and effectiveness and to ensure the implementation of Individual Service and Behavior Plans as intended. You will supervise staff, provide ongoing coaching and evaluations, manage schedules to minimize overtime, ensure accurate timekeeping and documentation, and uphold confidentiality and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor service and care provisions for quality and effectiveness.
• Ensure implementation of Individual Service and Behavior Plans as intended.
• Monitor documentation related to all aspects of the service location and care provision per policy.
• Report service plan and care provision concerns to Supervisor.
• Develop and implement changes to service plans to ensure positive outcomes under supervision.
• Monitor health status of clients and address changes by directing concerns to the medical team.
• Review and monitor physician orders and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop weekly meal menus considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Manage budget and conduct or delegate shopping for groceries and supplies.
• Prepare monthly activity calendars with community and home-based activities.
• Assess employee performance and provide regular coaching and evaluations.
• Maintain staff morale and open communication to encourage engagement.
• Create weekly work schedules to minimize overtime and ensure full shift coverage.
• Monitor staff coverage and timekeeping; conduct service location and client training.
• Oversee the maintenance and safety of the service location, vehicles, and equipment.
• Manage petty cash, client funds, and approved transactions according to standards.
• Perform direct care services per DSP essential functions and document updates clearly.
• Ensure confidentiality, professional conduct, and compliance with policies and HR guidance.
• Report allegations of abuse, rights violations, conflict of interest, harassment, or fraud.
