Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Lead to assist in developing and monitoring individual plans and to review client files for completeness and accuracy, including medication administration records, progress notes and reports.

You will help keep a safe, compliant environment by noting hazards and maintenance needs, maintaining documentation, and participating in regular meetings and trainings per regulations.

Qualifications

• High school degree, GED or experience with vulnerable populations required.
• Experience and/or training of at least one year with individuals with disabilities required.
• Medication administration training when required (may be obtained after hire).
• First Aid training and CPR Certificate may be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and monitoring of individual plans and monitor client files for completeness and accuracy (e.g., MARs, progress notes, reports).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by noting hazards and maintenance needs for the site and vehicles; address unsafe situations.
• Maintain documentation, perform record keeping and participate in periodic meetings/trainings according to regulations.
