Job summary

Responsibilities

• Monitors service and care provisions for quality and effectiveness.
• Ensures implementation of Individual Service and Behavior Plans as intended.
• Monitors accurate documentation related to all aspects of assigned service location and care provision per policy.
• Reports service plan and care provision concerns to Supervisor.
• Develops and implements changes to service plan and provision of cares to ensure positive outcomes.
• Monitors health status of clients and directs concerns to medical team.
• Reviews physician orders and treatments as prescribed.
• Develops weekly meal menus and posts them, considering client dietary needs.
• Manages budget and conducts or delegates shopping for groceries and supplies.
• Ensures monthly activities calendar includes community and home-based recreational activities.
• Assesses employee performance and provides regular coaching and evaluations.
• Maintains staff morale and fosters open communication.
• Generates weekly work schedules to minimize overtime and maximize staffing.
• Conducts service location and client-specific training for direct reports and cross-trained staff.
• Monitors facility condition, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Maintains company vehicles and reports maintenance needs.
• Manages petty cash, credit card transactions, and client funds per policy.
• Performs direct care services as documented in DSP position description.
• Produces professional written updates and adheres to confidentiality and HR policies.
• Implements new company policies and forms to ensure consistent practices.
• Observes confidentiality rules within and outside programs.
• Maintains professional appearance and interactions with clients and staff.
• Reports allegations of abuse, rights violations, conflicts of interest, harassment, or fraud to management.
