Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking a Lead Caregiver to serve as shift leader, delivering exceptional resident care while guiding and coaching the caregiving team. You will organize shift assignments, monitor attendance, and ensure smooth coverage and high-quality service across the unit.

You’ll mentor teammates, review charting for ISP alignment, and promote safety and smooth transitions between shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration certifications required.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior care preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift assignments, manage attendance, and coordinate coverage.
• Provide hands-on ADL support when needed.
• Coach caregivers on quality, hospitality, and documentation standards.
