Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory (CVDL) is a state-of-the-art imaging facility seeking a Lead Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist to join our elite team in Baltimore, MD. You will perform invasive procedures and oversee a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology.
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Tech.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• Current ACLS/BLS certification.
• CI, CV, RCES or HRS Certification.
• Two and a half (2 ½) years’ experience in CVIL (full-time).
• Must have been a CVRT II at Johns Hopkins for a minimum of one (1) year optimal evaluations OR comparable outside experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform invasive procedures.
• Optimize team performance by overseeing the multi-disciplinary team.
• Proactively and consistently assist in solving issues/problems.
• Promote teamwork between staff.

The Johns Hopkins Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory (CVDL) Is a State-of-the-art Imaging Facility Performing Over 24,000 Diagnostic And Interventional Procedures Annually. We Treat The Following Conditions

• Congenital heart defects
• Coronary artery disease
• Cardiomyopathy
• Heart failure
• Peripheral vascular disease
• Valvular heart disease

The CVDL operates eleven (11) procedure rooms. There are general areas within the CVDL:

• Cardiology
• Radiology
• Electrophysiology

Minimum Qualifications

Shift

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift (some flexibility with hours)

Open to 5 – 8 hr shifts or 4 – 10 hour shifts

Must be here at 7:00am on Thursdays

Salary Range:

Minimum 48.40/hour - Maximum 79.92/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
