Johns Hopkins Intrastaff seeks qualified professionals to support cardiovascular and interventional teams at Johns Hopkins Suburban Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. You will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, and participate in on-call coverage to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

The role requires ARRT/RCIS, Maryland/DC licensure, and BLS/CPR certification, with a minimum of 3 years in a CV lab.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT or RCIS certification and state licensure (Maryland/DC).
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Minimum 3 years of CVRT/CVIR or similar interventional lab experience.
• Experience supporting invasive cardiovascular/interventional procedures.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cathography, electrophysiology, and angiography per protocols.
• Assist physicians during invasive CV and interventional radiology procedures with aseptic technique.
• Prepare procedure rooms with catheters, guidewires, contrast media, imaging equipment, and interventional supplies.
• Operate and maintain angiographic, fluoroscopic, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and document procedures.
• Identify arrhythmias and communicate findings to physicians.
• Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure expectations.
• Maintain crash carts and emergency equipment; ensure ALARA and universal precautions.
• Participate in on-call coverage for emergencies and after-hours procedures.
