Job summary

USA Health is recruiting a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technician to perform a range of cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures. The role requires certification (RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS) or an approved equivalent, plus ongoing competencies in high-quality imaging and patient safety.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, handling exams such as transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, with emphasis on accurate reporting and collaboration with the medical team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved cardiac or vascular ultrasound training program from an accredited institution, Required
• 2 years of cardiac or vascular ultrasound experience, Required
• RDCS, RVT, RCS, and/or RVS credentials Upon Hire, Required or equivalent substitution permitted.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Perform cardiac/vascular ultrasound procedures (e.g., TTE, TEE, stress echocardiography) in OR/lab settings.
• Provide thorough documentation of all procedures and patient data.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhere to infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to interpret findings.

RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist

RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer

RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer
