USA Health is seeking a skilled cardiac/vascular ultrasound professional to perform transthoracic and vascular studies with high standards of image quality and patient safety. The role requires RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS credentials and relevant ultrasound experience, with on-site work and potential on-call duties in Mobile, Alabama.

Qualifications

  • RDCS/RVT/RCS/RVS credentials required upon hire.
  • 2 years cardiac or vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with accredited training in cardiac/vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Ensure accurate image acquisition, labeling and reporting per protocol.
  • Provide thorough documentation including patient demographics and findings.
  • Perform transthoracic, transesophageal and vascular ultrasound procedures as indicated.
  • Maintain patient safety, infection control and department policies.
  • Support on-call coverage and participate in performance improvement activities.
  • Review patient's history in the clinical information system prior to procedures.
  • Communicate critical findings promptly to the medical team.
