Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL seeks a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technician to perform advanced echocardiography studies covering transthoracic, transesophageal, and vascular ultrasound within the Cardiology department. You will optimize imaging, document patient data, and support timely reporting to physicians.

The role requires RDCS, RVT, RCS, and/or RVS certification or eligibility, plus 2 years of experience. On-site work with potential on-call coverage in a busy lab.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved cardiac or vascular ultrasound training program.
• 2 years of cardiac or vascular ultrasound experience.
• RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist
• RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer
• RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to compliance requirements and policies in an ethical manner.
• Performs a broad range of echocardiography procedures in adult and pediatric patients.
• Maintains accurate documentation including patient demographics and study results.
• Optimizes imaging parameters based on patient condition and clinical indications.
• Communicates findings and ensures timely reporting to physicians.
• Supports patient throughput while maintaining high quality imaging and safety.
