Job summary

Mercy Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonographer – Lead to perform a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and imaging standards. You will lead in the absence of direct leadership and coordinate daily work while training staff.

The role requires proficiency with cardiac imaging, strong communication with patients and healthcare professionals, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with clinical hours or on-the-job training under a registered preceptor.
• Two years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree.
• ARDMS (RVT) or CCI(RVS) or ARRT(RVS) AND ARDMS(RDCS) or CCI(RCS); BLS.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead when direct leadership is unavailable and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Assist in training and ensure imaging procedures meet safety and quality standards.
