Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR received on the job training by a Preceptor registered in Cardiac ultrasound.
• Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program.
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification: ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI(RCS); Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Lead when direct leadership is unavailable and coordinate daily work assignments.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac imaging procedures.
• Train and supervise team members on imaging protocols.
• Maintain imaging standards and patient safety throughout procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
