Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, seeks a Senior Engineer for Carbon Seal Design & Analysis to lead sealing technology development for commercial and military gas turbine engines. You will guide design, analysis, testing, and production support across programs, mentoring engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience.
Advanced degree in Engineering with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, analysis, validation, and production support of carbon seals and rolling element bearings for commercial and military gas turbine engine programs.
Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to develop sealing solutions and support new products.
Conduct failure mode and root cause analyses, support rig testing and field investigations, implement corrective actions.
Develop analytical methods and tools, improve processes, mentor engineers to drive continuous improvement.
Present design recommendations and analytical findings to customers and executive leadership.
