The Opportunity
Honeywell Flight Operations is seeking a safety-focused, service-driven Captain to lead corporate flight operations from our Charlotte, NC base. As Pilot-in-Command, you’ll be the final authority for aircraft operations—setting the tone for safety, professionalism, and exceptional passenger care across domestic and international missions in a dynamic global business aviation environment.
Your Mission
- Lead all phases of flight as Pilot-in-Command, exercising sound judgment, leadership, and operational control.
- Champion safety, teamwork, and regulatory compliance; actively participate in the Flight Department Safety Management System (SMS).
- Conduct thorough preflight planning and verification, including: aircraft airworthiness, registration, documentation, weather, NOTAMs, airspace/airport restrictions, fuel and oxygen, mission requirements, weight and balance, databases, Electronic Flight Bags, crew credentials, travel documents, airport procedures, and required inspections.
- Ensure crew fitness for duty; verify passenger manifests; deliver or oversee safety briefings; provide exceptional customer service; professionally represent the Flight Department in all customer interactions.
- Operate the aircraft in accordance with all applicable regulations, company policies, SOPs, limitations, and checklists while maintaining superior situational awareness.
- Continuously monitor aircraft systems, weather, and fuel; coordinate with ATC and operational support teams.
- Comply with domestic and international customs, immigration, agricultural, and cabotage requirements.
- Complete post-flight inspections, reports, records, and administrative documentation; record flight times and any aircraft or maintenance discrepancies.
- Communicate operational changes in a timely manner; report accidents, incidents, regulatory issues, hazards, and safety concerns.
- Preserve flight recorder and cockpit voice recorder data following accidents or incidents; support investigations and compliance activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
What You’ll Bring
- All applicable certificates, medicals, qualifications, training, and flight-time experience required to operate assigned aircraft and missions.
- Proven leadership, communication, decision-making, and CRM skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally; eligible to obtain required passports and visas.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills; meticulous attention to detail; calm and effective under pressure.
- Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with a passion for aviation and an unwavering commitment to safety.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; large-cabin and international aircraft experience.
