Pilot Assessments is seeking a Captain for the CE-560XL with strong leadership and safety focus. You will command flights, supervise crew, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional client service and safe operations.

Qualifications

• ATP (unrestricted) and current First Class Medical.
• 3,000 TT; 1,500 PIC; 500 Multi-Engine PIC; 250 PIC in type; 250 turbine PIC on CE-560XL.
• Typed and current in CE-560XL; initial or recurrent training in the past 12 months.
• Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior crewmember on managed and charter assignments with safety as priority.
• Lead briefings, flight planning, weather and NOTAM reviews; ensure duty-time compliance.
• Model premium service for owners and guests; coordinate itinerary changes.
• Review logs to verify airworthiness; coordinate with maintenance; ensure required equipment.
• Complete records accurately and on time for Part 135 compliance.
• Mentor First Officers through in-flight guidance and post-flight feedback.
• Participate in safety-management, audits, and fleet-standardization initiatives.
• Maintain communication with dispatch; manage training and on-call periods.

The Captain Opportunity

As the Captain on the Citation XL (CE-560XL), you will exercise command authority and operational control on behalf of the Director of Operations, lead with calm professionalism, and set the tone for safety, airmanship, and impeccable client service. You will blend precise preflight planning, in-flight leadership, and post-flight follow-through to ensure every trip meets Jet Access standards and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Serve as senior crewmember on managed and charter assignments; make final go/no-go decisions with safety as the overriding priority.
• Lead briefings, flight planning, weather and NOTAM review; ensure duty-time, rest, and currency compliance.
• Model premium, relationship-focused service for aircraft owners and guests; coordinate itinerary changes with the Operations Control Center.
• Review flight and maintenance logs to verify airworthiness; coordinate open items with maintenance; ensure manuals, charts, and required equipment are aboard.
• Complete flight, aircraft, and passenger records accurately and on time for Part 135 compliance.
• Perform Ground and In-flight Security Coordinator duties per 49 CFR 1544.215(b–c), when applicable.
• Verify crew and passenger documentation for international travel; coordinate customs and immigration; conduct ICAO-compliant arrivals/departures.
• Mentor First Officers through in-flight guidance and post-flight feedback; communicate development progress to the Chief Pilot.
• Participate in safety-management systems, special projects, audit preparation, and fleet-standardization initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain continuous communication with dispatch and scheduling; manage recurrent training, compliance deadlines, on-call periods, and multi-day sequences.

What You'll Bring

• Certificates/Medical: ATP (unrestricted) and current First Class Medical.
• Time Requirements: 3,000 TT; 1,500 PIC; 500 Multi-Engine PIC; 250 PIC in type; 250 turbine PIC on the assigned aircraft.
• Type & Currency: Typed and current in CE-560XL; initial or recurrent training in the past 12 months.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR Part 135 and Part 91.
• Tools & Tech: Proficiency with digital flight planning, modern avionics, and web/mobile flight apps; familiarity with Avianis or ForeFlight Dispatch a plus.
• Docs: Valid passport and state driver's license; able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Professional Qualities: Commanding yet approachable cockpit presence; clear communicator; receptive to feedback; culture leader committed to safety and excellence.
• Physical/Operational: Able to meet FAA medical/physical standards for Part 135 PIC; stamina for extended duty, variable environments, evenings/weekends, and on-call periods.

Base, Schedule & Expectations

• Base: KEYE (Eagle Creek Airpark), Indianapolis, IN.
• Residency: Field- and aircraft-based, non-commutable; reside within a 90-minute callout.
• Rotation: 10 days on / 5 days off, with regular on-call coverage.
• Trips: Domestic and international; overnights and multi-day assignments are routine.
• Team Engagement: Participate in company meetings (e.g., Level 10 and all-hands) when not on trip.
