Job summary

CU Boulder is seeking an Assistant Director of Visitor Experience to lead the design, planning, and execution of signature visit experiences for prospective and admitted students. The role champions innovative tour design, data-led engagement, and scalable processes to elevate CU Boulder’s academic story and recruitment outcomes.

The position requires collaboration with Admissions, Marketing, and CRM teams, with a hybrid work model and a salary range of $70,900–$74,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years in visitor experience, event management, or enrollment/engagement operations.
• Experience supervising student or staff teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale visit programs and campus tours; oversee logistics and staffing.
• Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, and CRM teams on event promotion and follow-up workflows.
• Develop innovative visit formats and data-driven improvements to guest experiences.
• Manage budgets, resources, and vendor coordination for visit programs.
• Coach and develop student ambassadors and staff for quality tour delivery.
