Job summary

University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an Assistant Director of Visitor Experience to design, plan, and execute signature campus visit experiences. You will pilot innovative tour formats, leverage data and storytelling, and partner with Admissions to support recruitment outcomes.

The role requires leadership across event operations, marketing collaboration, and staff development, with a hybrid work model and regular on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in visitor experience, event management, enrollment/engagement operations, or related fields.
• Experience supervising student staff, temporary staff, or professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of CU Boulder’s signature visit experiences to drive recruitment outcomes.
• Oversee end-to-end logistics for large-scale visit programs and partnerships with Admissions.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Communications and CRM teams to optimize messaging and guest communications.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for tours, events, and staffing.
