Job summary

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater seeks a Lead for the Center for Health Sciences Security Department to oversee daily security operations, guide on-duty officers, and coordinate incident responses across campus. The position requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage emergencies; familiarity with CCTV and security systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before start date)
• Two years of experience in a related field.
• Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Basic Life Support/CPR; Valid Oklahoma driver’s license; Oklahoma CLEET License (Phase 1 & 2); FTO Certified
• Knowledge of security operations, surveillance systems, and emergency response protocols; strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work under pressure in emergencies; First aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise security officers on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with Operations Captain and other security staff to maintain campus safety across the site
