Job summary

Oklahoma State University is seeking motivated OSU Police Officers to join a mission-driven department focused on protecting and serving the campus community in Stillwater, OK. You will lead with presence, build relationships, and promote safety and integrity across campus life.

Responsibilities include enforcing laws and university policies, mentoring students, supporting major events, and collaborating across departments to create a secure, inclusive university environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED and 60 college credits; degree conferred on or before start date.
• Two years of military service with honorable discharge or prior certified law enforcement experience may substitute for college credits.
• Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, management, training, and discipline for a shift of police officers and performs related administrative duties.
• Protects lives and property through modern law enforcement techniques to maintain a safe educational environment.
• Engages in Crime Prevention/Safety Enhancement to reduce risks and prevent hazards on campus.
• Provides public service/public relations support to faculty, staff, students, and visitors.
• Maintains the educational environment by enforcing university rules and state laws.
