Job summary

Tri Delta’s Epsilon Omicron chapter at North Dakota State University seeks a Chef to plan and prepare all meals for the chapter facility, while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe kitchen to create a premier living experience for Tri Delta's collegiate members.

The ideal candidate is an experienced cook responsible for lunch and dinner for about 40-50 people, with two meals a week for 75 people, and capable of adjusting for dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Culinary arts certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in large scale meal planning and kitchen management.
• Staff relations, customer service, and safety standards skills.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Must operate a computer (web, email, Office).
• Ability to speak and read English.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen management and safety compliance.
• Oversee stock of food and kitchen supplies.
• Plan meals that are nutritious, balanced, and accommodate dietary needs.
• Check and store deliveries; process vendor receipts.
• Supervise kitchen staff in meal preparation.
• Collaborate on operations budget and adhere to chapter rules.
