Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Foreman and mechanics with monitoring, repairing, and installing HVAC systems on campus.
• Monitor and correct deficiencies in HVAC systems as directed.
• Understand type and purpose of each system used to maintain campus buildings.
• Investigate technical problems and determine solutions to maintain service.
• Instruct junior mechanics in proper protocols and repair procedures.
• Report job information and material needs to supervision.
• Report unsafe practices or conditions to supervision.
• Study technical materials to improve knowledge of equipment and safety protocols.
