Job summary

This on-site role requires hands-on skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, plus the ability to wear respirators, climb ladders, and operate power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience or completion of a technical program.
• Ability to wear respirator and operate power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assists in training new employees and shares knowledge and safety procedures.
• Inspects repairs performed by others for quality and function.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend tool and equipment life.
• Detects and addresses needed repairs and investigates failures.
• Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures and checks for leaks.
• Monitors boilers, water heaters, furnaces, and refrigeration systems.
• Maintains hazardous material storage and responds to emergencies.
• Keeps floor drains clear and traps primed; drains gutters.
• Replaces filters, ballasts, lights, motors, fans, switches.
• Conducts daily inspection of lights, air handlers, generators, and fixtures.
